Working Together to Make a Difference!

As a school, we recognize that it takes all of us working together to make a significant difference in the lives of our children. In addition to supporting our school, our active P.T.O. models the kind of service we hope our children will come to value as they grow and mature. For those seeking to be part of an amazing team of dedicated parents and teachers, we invite you to join our P.T.O.  

PTO Activities

û Open House - Officers are introduced and parents are encouraged to join and be involved. 

û Teacher Appreciation - Periodically a meal or refreshments are provided for the faculty and staff by P.T.O members.

û Awards Day - P.T.O. members help in presenting certificates and awards at the end of each grading period.

û Book Fair - Each year our P.T.O. volunteers assist with a Book Fair presented for students and family to purchase books.  

û Class Programs - Each grade presents a music program during the school year.  P.T.O. helps with providing decorations or anything else we might need for the program.

û Santa's Secret Shop or Cupid Shop - This is a fundraiser for P.T.O. and provides a service to students to shop for their families.

û Fall Festival or Spring Fling - This is a fundraiser for P.T.O. and provides fun activities for the students.

û Red Ribbon Week - This is a week of activities which emphasize being "Drug Free".  P.T.O. provides the ribbons for the drug free education program.

û Children's Theater - P.T.O. arranges and helps pay for the Birmingham Children's Theater to present a program at the Bevill Center for all students.

û Teacher Appreciation Week - A token of appreciation is provided for all faculty and staff each day of the week.

û Teacher Christmas Gifts - A gift is given to each member of the faculty and staff at Christmas.
